Celebrating 10 Seasons of Community Tennis Across Essex County

The Greater Amherstburg Tennis League (GATL) is proud to serve players across Essex County as the region’s #1 outdoor public tennis league. Now in its 10th season, the GATL continues to grow while honouring its roots in the original Amherstburg Men’s Tennis League, established in 2003.

Today, the league brings together nearly 300 active players competing in a wide range of divisions suited for all levels. With a full regular season, playoffs, and two exciting summer tournaments, the GATL offers competitive play and a welcoming tennis community for everyone.

We are proud to team up with top facilities in the region:

• Zekelman Tennis Centre – St. Clair College
  Home of the GATL Championships each September since 2022.

• Parkside Tennis Club
  Host of our popular Thursday Night Tennis (TNT) program for Doubles and Mixed Doubles, introduced in 2024.
